Set back after set back, Laura and Tom still found a way to get married.

They changed plans and dates but kept their spirits high and what resulted was a low-key and understated wedding filled with love. Set in her favourite yoga studio with lush uninterrupted views of the dunes, followed by photos (in the most perfect light) overlooking his favourite view of the ocean, these two lovebirds happily broke every social distancing rule out there.

With very few guests able to attend it felt intimate and relaxed. But this didn’t stop their friends putting on the warmest of welcomes from the street. Reminiscent of the Beatles Tour arrival in 1964, there was a group of screaming fans, confetti and home-made signs. It really was too good to be true and showed us these challenging times only bring out the best in people.

Despite the fact that the coronavirus had forced them to rearrange a larger affair, this fairytale couple created something truly beautiful and genuine and proved love will not be cancelled. In Laura’s own words, “I wouldn’t have changed a single thing”.
